Join Lactalis SA Cape Town DC as a Driver Code 14 in the Distribution department reporting directly to the Distribution Controller. Successful candidates need to have a valid code 14 driver's license with PrDP. Candidate must also have the ability to analyse problems and potential to take charge of a situation. Required Skills    

•  Successful candidates need to have Grade 12 or equivalent and a
•  Valid code 14 driver's license with PrDP.
•  Good communication and interpersonal skills 
•  Be customer service orientated 
•  Knowledgeable of Safety procedures on the road.
•  Medical fitness as per road traffic regulations.
•  Ability and knowledge to perform pre-trip vehicle check.
•  Ability to analyse problems and potential to take charge of a situation. 
•  The ability to consistently produce accurate, neat, and thorough work in relation to documentation. 

Duties & Responsibilities    

•  Execution of the Route Plan
•  Preservation of stock in transit 
•  Monitoring and recording the cool unit reading. 
•  Deliveries, collection of return stock and completion of relevant documentation. 
•  Vehicle handling and safe driving - Follow all road safety procedures and adhere to legislation. 
•  Drive vehicle with due caution and care. 
•  Building and maintaining a positive image at all times.
