    Buyer (Centurion)

    Role Overview

    • We are seeking an experienced and commercially focused Buyer to procure building materials, equipment and services for construction projects and associated companies.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement effective procurement strategies.
    • Source and evaluate suppliers, products and pricing.
    • Negotiate contracts, pricing, payment terms and delivery conditions.
    • Maintain supplier relationships and monitor performance.
    • Research market pricing, products and industry trends.
    • Manage procurement budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
    • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock requirements.
    • Ensure purchased products meet quality standards and specifications.
    • Resolve supplier, quality, pricing and delivery issues.
    • Prepare procurement and supplier-performance reports.
    • Manage Open-to-Buy budgets in line with inventory objectives.
    • Review product ranges and suppliers periodically.
    • Guide and support junior buyers.

    • Must be based in Centurion or willing to commute or relocate.

    Plumber

    • Our client is an established South African property company specialising in the development, leasing and management of commercial and industrial properties. They are seeking a Plumber to carry out day-to-day maintenance across their buildings and support tenants with plumbing-related issues.

    Key responsibilities

    • Perform planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs and fault-finding.
    • Maintain and repair water supply, drainage, sanitary and hot-water systems.
    • Detect and repair leaks, and respond to emergency plumbing issues.
    • Assist with tenant installations and minor plumbing projects.
    • Inspect and maintain booster pumps, circulation pumps, float valves and water-storage systems.
    • Support water-saving initiatives and maintain plumbing asset registers.
    • Record completed work, manage stock and coordinate with contractors where required.
    • Follow safe working practices and applicable plumbing requirements.

    Requirements

    • Matric and an N1-N3 plumbing qualification.
    • At least two years’ experience as a plumber, with sound technical knowledge.
    • Experience in leak detection, drainage maintenance and pipe-joining methods, including soldering, threading, solvent welding and compression fittings.
    • Ability to read plumbing drawings and work with building services and infrastructure.
    • Strong fault-finding, problem-solving, communication and customer service skills.
    • Experience with preventative maintenance and basic building repairs.

    Draughtsman & Estimator

    Role Overview

    • Our client is seeking an experienced Draughtsman & Estimator to prepare technical drawings, quotations and cost estimates for aluminium and glass products, including windows, doors and shopfronts. The successful candidate will support projects from initial measurements and design through to production and installation.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Prepare accurate manufacturing and shop drawings, elevations and cutting lists using AutoCAD and Bizman.
    • Calculate quantities of glass, aluminium profiles and hardware, and prepare cost estimates, quotations, tenders and bills of quantities (BOQs).
    • Submit drawings and quotations to clients for approval and release approved jobs into production.
    • Take accurate on-site measurements and liaise with architects, clients and site managers.
    • Assist with tracking projects through manufacturing and installation.

    Requirements
    Minimum Requirements

    • Certificate or qualification in Draughting and Design at NQF Level 4 or 5.
    • AutoCAD certification.
    • 2–3 years’ experience in aluminium and glass manufacturing.
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Bizman.
    • Strong Excel, estimating and costing skills.
    • Knowledge of AAAMSA and SAGGA standards.

    Forklift Operator & Driver

    ROLE OVERVIEW

    • Our client is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator & Driver for a full-time position. The successful candidate will handle the safe movement, storage and dispatch of stock, operate a forklift and assist with driving duties.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Follow safety procedures and wear the required personal protective equipment.
    • Receive stock from suppliers and verify quantities and condition.
    • Offload incoming vehicles and stack materials and palletised stock in designated warehouse areas.
    • Locate and move stock onto pallets or into crates for storage or dispatch.
    • Accurately and efficiently dispatch stock to customers.
    • Load materials and merchandise into trucks and containers.
    • Identify and report damaged stock, shortages and quality concerns.
    • Transport raw materials to production workstations.
    • Conduct routine forklift inspections, report repair needs and carry out maintenance within the scope of the role.
    • Maintain accurate inventory records and activity logs.
    • Assist with stock security, regular stock counts and variance checks.
    • Maintain a safe, clean and orderly working environment.
    • Share practical knowledge with students and trainees.
    • Assist with driving duties and carry out other reasonable tasks within the scope of the role.

    Requirements
    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • Grade 12 or a relevant certificate or qualification.
    • Experience in a similar role.
    • Valid Code 8 driver’s licence.
    • Valid forklift licence.
