Dry Goods Operator (Northern Suburbs (Cape) at Vital Health Foods

Description
Perform various tasks to fit auxiliary equipment and operate, dispense, mix, monitor, troubleshoot, and clean/sanitize machinery according to set standards to meet production KPIs.

Responsibilities: 

• Ensure and verify adequate materials and supplies are available of the right quality to complete operations as per job requirement
• Facilitate movement of raw materials to/from the required production area (raw material returns, or supply to machine)
• Assist in movement of production waste to designated areas
• Use the MES system according to set procedures
• Dispense raw materials to meet production requirements
• Ensure accurate production documentation is maintained
• Maintain high standards of safety in the dry goods and dispensing areas
• Ensure ultimate housekeeping and maintain a high standard of GMP in the department

Requirements: 

• Grade 12 certificate, preferably with Maths
• 2 relevant technical qualification would be advantageous
• Previous experience in a dispensing / mixing environment with 1 year of experience in a GMP production environment is desired
• Forklift Driving Licence and basic electrical knowledge will be advantageous
