DTP Finished Artist at Unique Personnel

Job Description    

This role is responsible for creating and producing a variety of high-quality print or digital ready communication materials, taking elements from multiple sources and laying it out with appealing typefaces and images through layout techniques. This includes artwork for print mediums, magazines, websites, brochures, flyers, billboards, catalogues, point of sale, websites, social media etc. 

Duties 

• Take approved concepts to the production phase of the job 
• Create, edit, integrate and import images, graphics and text to produce a variety of high quality materials 
• Adjust text properties, sizing, column width, spacing and revise layouts and make corrections where necessary 
• Take responsibility for brand CI requirements 
• Contour, retouch and colour correction and photo manipulation 
• Ensure work is at the highest quality and correct before submitting / uploading final files for print or digital 
• Contribute by effecting innovation that builds a positive agency culture and work environment through knowledge sharing, mentorship and guidance.

Inherent Requirements    

Qualifications & Experience 

Relevant qualification  

• Minimum of 5 years DTP | FA or Design experience 
• Strong technical skills that include InDesign, rendering, storyboarding, retouching, photoshop, illustrator 
• Must possess a thorough understanding of interactive communications and delivery systems, processes, and user interface design as well as industry best practices 
• A strong working experience in design, brand development, interactive commerce and creative processes 
• Ability to deliver creative work of distinction
