DTP Operator (Midweight Designer) at Clicks Group

Introduction

• We are currently looking for a Midweight DTP Designer with the appropriate design experience and skill set.

Job description

Duties & Responsibilities

• Interpreting of briefs to the brief objectives. 
• Layout and design leaflets and POS from inception to completion.
• Ensure consistency of all Layout and design material to brand guidelines.
• Meticulous attention to detail & ability to problem solve in a challenging retail environment.
• Work closely with creative team to develop effective marketing communications.
• Understanding of the repro (DTP) process.
• Efficiently manage and check own  artwork.
• Provide support to line manager

Minimum requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

• 3 year diploma in Graphic Design
• Essential: Min CC (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe Acrobat)
• Essential: Min 3 - 5 years’ experience in graphic design
• Desirable: Experience in DTP design

Requirements

• Appropriate Degree or qualification in Desk Top Publishing
• 3– 5 years experience in DTP/Layout Artist role within a reputable agency
• Retail layout experience is beneficial
• Strong layout skills
• Multitask and deadline driven
• Fast, efficient  and Accurate
• Manage self and work within a team
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite 6 (InDesign, Illustrator & Photoshop)
• Retouching ability – Advantageous
