DTP Operator (Packaging) at Clicks Group

Job description;

• Deliver on roll out packaging artwork in line with our 18 month & Christmas plans.
• Maintain brand consistency and Corporate identity in line with relevant marketing strategies by adhering to guidelines
• To be aware of the status of work in progress at all times to ensure deadlines are met
• To work closely/collaboratively within own team as well as Traffic, Client Services and the Client to ensure a smooth workflow and delivery of work while ensuring the creative brief is attained
• To effectively communicate with traffic, print production to ensure timeous delivery of brief from concept to in-store

Minimum requirements:

Qualifications and Experience:

• 3 year diploma in Graphic Design
• Essential: Min CC (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe Acrobat)
• Essential: Min 3 - 5 years’ experience in packaging design
• Desirable: Experience in DTP and layout design

Skills, Abilities and Job Related Knowledge:

• Mac operating system, Adobe CS6, Finished Art and repro
• Strong Photoshop retouching ability advantageous
• Organisation and Communication Skills
• Multi-tasking ability
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to work quickly and accurately
• Working knowledge of print processes
• Meticulous accuracy
• Adhering to deadlines
• Managing own work value
