What we’re looking for: the nutshell version

• We need someone to report to the Demand Planning Manager to help acquire the right stock at the right time for our amazing daily deal site. This requires a person with an eye for detail, great numerical skills and the ability to work under pressure!

What we’re looking for: the not-so-nutshell version

Responsibilities:

• Sourcing product information
• Analysing pricing for potential orders
• Reviewing order details to ensure they are processed accurately
• Capturing data into our system to process orders
• Exporting sales data on Excel to assist the planner with stock forecasting
• Exporting warehouse stock data to manage stock levels
• Identify slow-selling products and think of creative strategies to increase sales
• Following up with the procurement team to ensure orders are delivered in time
• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate between all relevant departments when acquiring and managing stock
• Utilising internal systems to monitor current stock levels and assist the planner with stock management and forecasting

Requirements:

• Proficient MS Office skills, with a strong focus on Excel
• Analytical with an aptitude for numbers
• Ability to be innovative and think outside the box

Qualifications:

• Relevant tertiary degree (BCom preferred)
• Preferably Honours degree and above
• Intermediate/advanced level of Excel experience
