EDCTP Communications Intern

Responsibilities:
- Draft and schedule social media posts (LinkedIn, X).
- Assist in preparing the monthly newsletter.
- Create simple visuals and infographics for online platforms.
- Support website updates (news items, event listings, project highlights).
- Assist with logistics and communications for events and webinars.
- Provide administrative and communications support to the EDCTP Alumni Network platform.
Requirements

Core Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Media, Public Relations, Global Health, or related field.
- Strong writing and editing skills in English.
- Familiarity with social media platforms.
- Interest in global health, infectious diseases, or international partnerships.
Added Advantage:
- Knowledge of newsletter tools (Mailchimp, etc.).
- Familiarity with website CMS (WordPress, Drupal).
- Basic design/layout skills (e.g., Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Any prior internship or volunteering experience in communications.
