    EDCTP Communications Intern

    Responsibilities:

    • Draft and schedule social media posts (LinkedIn, X).
    • Assist in preparing the monthly newsletter.
    • Create simple visuals and infographics for online platforms.
    • Support website updates (news items, event listings, project highlights).
    • Assist with logistics and communications for events and webinars.
    • Provide administrative and communications support to the EDCTP Alumni Network platform.

    Requirements

    Core Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Media, Public Relations, Global Health, or related field.
    • Strong writing and editing skills in English.
    • Familiarity with social media platforms.
    • Interest in global health, infectious diseases, or international partnerships.

     Added Advantage:

    • Knowledge of newsletter tools (Mailchimp, etc.).
    • Familiarity with website CMS (WordPress, Drupal).
    • Basic design/layout skills (e.g., Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator).
    • Any prior internship or volunteering experience in communications.
