• The purpose of this role is to drive the Environmental Health & Safety Performance in terms of culture, EHS standards and compliance across all functions within the assigned site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Updated and implemented SHE procedures.
• Facilitated safety committee meetings.
• Investigated and reported SHE incidents.
• Conducted internal & assisted external SHE audits.
• Trained employees on SHE systems, policies, and procedures.
• Managed compliance requirements with local authorities.
• Implementation of systems and procedures.
• Updating of systems to ensure Pepsico compliance.

Qualifications

What will qualify you for the role?

• Minimum of 4-5 years' experience as an EHS coordinator
• Detailed knowledge of relevant regulations such as OSHA, NEMA, and all other applicable regulations interns of safety.
• Matric and Diploma or Degree in Qualification in Health and Safety or relevant qualification
• The ability to read and interpret safety data sheets.
• Proficiency in computer programs such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Monthly report and adherence to deadlines.
