    Election Monitoring Compliance Officers

    Key Outputs: The successful candidates will report to the Manager:

    • Broadcasting Compliance, and their responsibilities will include: Monitoring compliance to the Electronic Communications Act and Municipal Political Elections Broadcasts and Political Advertisements Amendment Regulations, 2026 Data capturing and identifying issues covered by the Broadcasting Licensees during the election period Reporting non-compliance Compiling reports on compliance as required.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Diploma NQF Level 6/7 or Bachelor's Degree NQF Level 7/8; in Law, Media studies, Journalism, Humanities, Commerce, or related qualification 1-year related working experience (i.e. Administration, Communications, Compliance, Law, ICT, and Media) Computer literacy (Word, Excel, Power Point etc.)
    • Prior experience in elections or broadcasting monitoring, or ICT sector will be an added advantage Proficiency in at least 2 official South African Languages.
