Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering BSc or BEng.
Registration with Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) or eligible.
Experience:
5 to 10 years’ electrical engineering experience in a specialist, supervisor or senior role with specific reference to the related leadership competencies within a manufacturing environment preferably within Pulp and Paper.
Key Performance Areas:
Designing, implementing and maintaining effective programs in electrical engineering.
Optimisation of technical systems, people and resources ensuring plant/process availability relating to electrical engineering according to predetermined availability parameters.
Monitoring process and systems conditions and trends to improve productivity and efficiency.
Manage optimisation and change projects including specifications and resourcing.
Engage in liaison with stakeholders such as suppliers, direct line management, production, maintenance and staff to ensure correct equipment applications.
