Profile Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering BSc or BEng.
• Registration with Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) or eligible.

Experience:

• 5 to 10 years’ electrical engineering experience in a specialist, supervisor or senior role with specific reference to the related leadership competencies within a manufacturing environment preferably within Pulp and Paper.

Key Performance Areas:

• Designing, implementing and maintaining effective programs in electrical engineering.
• Optimisation of technical systems, people and resources ensuring plant/process availability relating to electrical engineering according to predetermined availability parameters.
• Monitoring process and systems  conditions and trends to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Manage optimisation and change projects including specifications and resourcing
• Engage in liaison with  stakeholders such as suppliers, direct line management, production, maintenance and staff to ensure correct equipment applications.
