The successful candidate will be responsible for electrical, electronic control, breakdown repair, preventative maintenance, plant maintenance, installations, and general office maintenance, while ensuring health and safety requirements are maintained at all times.
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12
Suitably qualified/experienced as an Electrician (An experienced Electrician with experience in steel manufacturing or related heavy machinery - Essential
Minimum 5 years working related experience in similar position.
Prepared to work overtime, Shifts and Callouts
Knowledge on safety awareness
Knowledge of overhead cranes and working on heights
Knowledge of CNC machines
Mechanical knowledge
AC & DC Drives- Essential
Be able to work under pressure
Be able to read schematic drawings
General Electric maintenance
Light current fault finding - Essential
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for electrical and control of electronic equipment and maintenance
Control and maintain health and safety requirements at all times.
Breakdown repairs
Planning and executing of preventative maintenance
Must be able to work on Overhead Cranes, profile machines, CNC machines, Generators and Electric Fencing
Responsible for general plant maintenance and installations
