    Embroidery Senior Supervisor - Edenvale

    Job Objectives and Functions

    • Supervision and Leadership
    • Lead and supervise a team of embroidery operators, ensuring they adhere to production schedules and quality standards.
    • Provide guidance, training, and support to team members to enhance their skills and productivity.
    • Motivate and inspire team members to meet production targets while maintaining quality.

    Production Management

    • Plan and organize embroidery production schedules to meet customer deadlines and orders.
    • Monitor production processes to ensure efficient workflow and identify areas for improvement.
    • Coordinate with other departments, such as design and quality control, to ensure smooth production processes.

    Quality Control

    • Implement and enforce quality control procedures to maintain high standards of embroidery work.
    • Conduct regular inspections of finished products to identify any defects or issues and take corrective actions.
    • Work closely with quality assurance team to address any quality-related concerns.

    Equipment Maintenance

    • Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of embroidery machines and equipment to ensure they operate smoothly.
    • Schedule regular maintenance checks and repairs to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.

    Inventory Management

    • Manage inventory of materials, threads, and supplies required for embroidery production.
    • Coordinate with procurement team to ensure timely replenishment of stock to avoid production delays.

    Safety and Compliance

    • Enforce safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards in the embroidery industry.

    Job Requirements

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Proven experience in embroidery production, with at least [3-4 years] in a supervisory or managerial role.
    • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards in the textile industry.
    • A degree or certification in textile production, embroidery, or a related field is preferred.
    • In-depth knowledge of embroidery techniques, materials, and equipment.
    • Proficiency in using embroidery software and equipment.

    Skills

    • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills to effectively plan and prioritize production tasks.
    • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high quality standards.
    • Problem-solving abilities to address production issues and implement solutions.
    • Good communication skills to liaise with team members, management, and other departments.
