To develop update and manage the long term (strategic) component forecast. To monitor, analyse and report on maintenance and related financial data for allocated MARC sites.
Up to date accurate long term (3 – 12 month) strategic component replacement forecast for allocated site
Ensure adherence to forecast by allocated site
Co ordinate parts and components supply for forecasted jobs (BRC, Parts, JDC)
Communicate with allocated sites regarding parts and component availability
Assist the site with planning of the component forecast jobs
Scheduled site visits to ensure forecast adherence as well coaching of site personnel
Forecasting the long term effects of component replacements on the sites financial health
Identify and implement alternative actions to mitigate the effects of early or late component replacements
Accuracy of analyser data through review of data and correction of the data
Accuracy of AMT data through review of analysis
Qualification, Experience and Competencies
Grade 12
Planned maintenance course or certificate
Diploma in project management, engineering or planning and scheduling an added advantage
5 years of previous Planning or Project Management experience
3 years maintenance management experience
Previous exposure to MARC sites and related processes
Exposure to business planning / budgeting processes. Sound business and financial acumen. Sound business communication and presentation skills. Sound Advanced MS Office knowledge. Briefing & debriefing people. Plan, lead, organise and control. Sound Equipment Management Skills. Sound Equipment Management system knowledge (AMT). Certification in Planning
