Purpose Statement

• To manage Credit risk through tracking Credit Granting Employer Policy and by analysing Credit data and operational intelligence to derive effective and useable management insight.
• To design and propose Credit Granting Employer Policy Solutions.

 
Experience
Minimum (Level Dependent):

Level 1

• 1 year relevant employer analysis experience (incl. SQL programming)

Level 2

• 3 years relevant employer analysis experience (incl. SQL programming)

Level 3

• 5 years relevant employer analysis experience (incl. SQL programming)

Ideal:

Capitec Bank experience
Qualifications (Minimum)

• Bachelor's Degree in Financial Sciences or Statistical Sciences

Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)

• Masters Degree in Financial Sciences or Statistical Sciences

Knowledge

• Retail credit lifecycle
• Retail credit market
• Database querying software (ex. SQL)
• National Credit Act (NCA)
• Consumer Protection Act (CPA)
• Banks Act and Basel III Risk Framework
• Protection of Personal Information Act (POPI)
• Project management principles
• Credit affordability assessment regulations
