Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

• Ensure content of technical documentation for own discipline is maintained to reflect the “as built” condition as per authorized modifications and changes;
• Effectively manage Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery processes relating to Automation and Control Systems;
• Ensure the availability of software and application backups;
• Manage obsolescence of hardware, applications, systems and software to ensure sustained and continued operations;
• Verify Technical Services contractors;
• Take shared accountability for the performance of the Technical Services team;
• Ensure quality of completed tasks and enhance technical knowledge of team members and other Engineering employees in regard to own technical discipline.

ABOUT YOU:

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

• Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in an Automation field;
• Experience in Managing and Execution of Technical Specifications is essential;
• Experience and more in PLC, HMI & SCADA is essential;
• Experience and more in Allen Bradley & Wonderware InTouch is essential;
• Experience in Computer Systems & Industrial Networks is essential.

Qualifications for this role are:

•  Degree/BTECH/ National Diplomab in Electrical Engineering/ Instrumentation/Automation Engineering.
