Minimum Requirements    

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field from a recognised institution.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience in a mechanical engineering role, preferably within the mining or resources sector.
• Proven experience in designing and developing mechanical systems and processes.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations related to mechanical engineering.
• Proficiency in using engineering design software and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to develop innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated commitment to sustainability and excellence in engineering practices.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple projects.
• Willingness to be based in Lephalale, Limpopo

Duties & Responsibilities    

• Design and develop mechanical systems and processes for coal operation facilities, ensuring alignment with operational goals and industry standards.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency and sustainability, providing technical expertise and support when needed.
• Conduct routine assessments and troubleshooting of mechanical systems to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
