Engineering Applications Specialist - Sandton at Ivanhoe Mines

You will have the following:

• An Engineering Degree from a university preferably Industrial Engineering or equivalent  

Preferably you will have:

• Project management with a 
• Certification and/or training in various engineering application  

You will have advanced skills and knowledge in:

• Management complex engineering applications and projects
• Project management, planning and budgeting 
• Understanding of databases, integration, data elements and reporting 
• Understanding of underground mining applications, fleet management and production systems 

Technical Skills should include:

• Interdisciplinary understanding regarding the applications landscape 
• Technical aptitude
• Digital control systems  

Personal Competencies should include:

• Demonstrated ability to resolve complex challenges 
• Ability to manage performance results from multiple sources 

Your Key Performance Activities will include but not limited to: 
Process: 

• Coordinate engineering application projects and services
• project manage the implementation of new technologies
• Monitor 3rd party services and mange contracts
• Monitor supporting technologies
• Report to management and steering committees
• Ensure accurate information is provided via dashboards or reports 
• Assist in the control room design, implementation and operation
