Engineering Assistant B2 at Anglo American

The Engineering Assistant provides a pool of support of multi-discipline engineering, technical skills and is required to support the Engineering Foreman/Artisan in the production department, to perform low complexity high volume work.

You will be responsible for:
 

• Loading and dispatching of material and equipment to work sites
• Maintain equipment in area of responsibility
• Providing assistance to all trades (Artisans)
• Accompany artisan when inspecting and completing tasks
• Promote safety awareness and report any safety issues
   

Experience required:
 

• A minimum of six months relevant experience in engineering.
• Semi skilled with various certificates in skills engineering is an advantage.
   

Qualifications

You will need:

• Grade 12 Maths and Science
• Internal – IDC to develop individual through ABET, NCOR, NTC2
