1. Work Output Description
- This position works under direct supervision of the Artisan and assists with the installation and maintenance of machinery and equipment within the business unit. Fulfils a supportive role to the Artisan of the section.
2. Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12/Matric Certificate or Equivalent
- Passed basic engineering Skills
- Certified competent as an Engineering /Artisan Assistant
3. Advantageous
- 3 years underground experience in a mining environment
4. Skills and Knowledge
- Ability to move and lift heavy equipment
- Competent in confined spaces
- Able to work in dirty, dusty and hot environment
5. Physical/Legal Requirements
- Fit for Duty / Certificate of Fitness
- Clear Credit/Criminal Record
