Engineering Electrical Level 4
- Job Type Full Time
- Qualification Bachelors , Higher National Certificate
- Experience 3 years
- Location Western Cape
- City Cape Town
- Job Field Engineering / Technical
Role Responsibilities
- Substation Primary Plant design (Develop SLD, GA, Sections, EarthGrid, Trenches and Conduit layout)
- Earthing design in CDEGS
- Underground cable design in CYMCAP
- Compile reports and engineering calculations.
- Interpret standards and implement calculation formulas in excel.
- Lighting design in Dialux.
- Compile BOMs.
- Basic Renewable energy design experience.
- Overhead line design in PLS-CADD will be a bonus.
- Basic LV and Secondary Plant experience will be a bonus.
Minimum Requirements
- B.Eng or B.Sc or B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
- 3 years relevant substation primary plant design experience in voltage levels up to 132kV or above
- CDEGS, CYMCAP, MATHCAD, PLS-CADD experience will be advantageous.
- Basic Microstation / Autocad skills
- Wide range of general knowledge of electrical engineering
