Engineering Manager at Fempower Recruitment Excellence

Our client, a prestigious Company, in the Rustenburg area is looking for an Engineering Manager.

Requirements:

• BEng/BSc Eng/National Diploma is essential
• Government Certificate of Competency: Mines and Works in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is essential (2.13.1)
• 3-5 years' operational experience within the hard rock mining industry
• Registration as a Professional Certificated Engineer would be an advantage
• 2 years' recognised Junior Engineering programme training is essential
• 2-3 years' project management experience would be desirable
• Legal and operational knowledge related to the mining industry
• MS Office, MS Project, SAP R/3 is essential
• Reliability engineering/preventative maintenance skills are essential

KPAs:

• Manage the effective short-, medium- and longterm planning of all engineering related activities and operations
• Ensure engineering compliance with statutory requirements
• Introduce new technology to ensure improved performance of equipment or infrastructure which is outdated
• Ensure capital and working costs are effectively managed within business plan parameters
• Effectively guide engineering staff
