Engineering Procurement Specialist - Modderfontein

- Job Field Engineering / Technical , Procurement / Store-keeping / Supply Chain
Job Description
- Collaborate closely with the Projects & Engineering team to timely procure equipment, spares, and services in line with the technical specifications.
- Possess a solid understanding of engineering principles and technical specifications related to the equipment, materials, and services procured.
- Prepare RFP and RFQ documents.
- Negotiate and implement long-term agreements with key suppliers.
- Supplier Development / Management
- Identification and implementation of cost-saving initiatives.
- Understanding of INCOTERMS and import procedure (Documents for customs clearance)
- Ensure compliance of the Procurement Policy.
- Expedite and communicate the status of orders placed.
- Drive B-BBEE strategies in line with the Business Goals
Qualifications & Experience
- Matric / Grade 12.
- NQF 6 Technical Qualification.
- Category Management experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of Procurement experience.
- SAP Experience
- MS Word, Immediate or Advanced Excel.
