Job Description
An excellent opportunity to join this team. Some of your duties will include:

• You will evaluate, monitor and provide feedback regarding performance efficiencies and risk management of the section
• Installation, monitoring and commissioning of projects and allocated work
• Maintenance and operation of Medium Voltage Switch Gear and Transformers
• Oversee the quality of workmanship and conduct regular inspections and identify operational priorities around the section.
• Plan daily, weekly and monthly work requirements and priorities.
• Allocate labour resources and equipment to scheduled and priority activities

This is role is in the processing department at a Band 6 level and reports into the Section Engineer.

Qualifications
In order to apply for this role, you will have:

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Electrical Trade Qualification
• Engineering Specialist Certificate
• Medium Voltage Certificate
   

To be successful, you will have the following experience:

• 5 years’ experience as Engineering Foreman within a smelter / processing environment
• Your experience should include Simocodes, E-Tap models, cabling (High, Medium and Low Voltage), protection settings an electrical reticulation
• The successful candidate will need to undergo a Medical Fitness Test
• Basic computer literacy
• Manufacturing knowledge
• English literacy
• Valid driving license code 08
