Implementing and managing maintenance plans for areas of responsibility and communicating monthly and weekly maintenance targets; and monitoring and offering technical guidance to Instrument Technicians to ensure the safe delivery of targets.
Managing resource capability, allocation, utilisation and driving the delivery of targets and equipment availability.
Measuring the performance of Technicians, providing guidance and coaching through the implementation of good standards and best practice.
Ensuring adherence to Legislation, Policies, Procedures, Standards and Operating Procedures in areas of responsibility.
Engaging relevant stakeholders to solve operational problems in areas of responsibility as necessary.
Ensuring that daily performance monitoring and interventions are in place to support and correct performance in areas of responsibility.
Minimum Qualifications and experience
N6 Certificate with Engineering Subjects (Instrumentation) and valid Trade Test (Instrumentation) OR National Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Instrumentation major subjects) and a minimum of 3 years’ experience as an Instrument Technician; OR
A relevant degree and completion of the Graduate Development Programme.
