• BLS competent
• All duties relating to a circulating Nurse
• Standby and after hours call out is compulsory
• Prepare the theatre
• High energy levels and tolerance for stress/pressure
• Focus on quality patient care
• Problem analysis/solving skills and accurate record keeping
• Adaptable and able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Detail orientated
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels
• Ability to render basic nursing care without supervision
• Shift work compulsory
• Ad hoc duties
• Transport especially after hours is essential

Requirements

• Current Registration with SANC as an Enrolled Nursing Auxiliary
• Minimum 1-year experience as a circulating Nurse in a Theatre
• Previous experience in a Private Hospital is advantageous
• Strong out of scope experience is essential
