The Enterprise Architect is responsible for providing guidance to different business areas on the Channel and CRM Strategy, which includes the collaboration with various business areas regarding their channel related initiatives, understanding those initiatives and then relaying to the Enterprise Architecture team any Gaps in the strategy that has been identified.

The Enterprise Architect Also works as an advocate with Information Services and Technology operational teams and the Enterprise Architects researching technology trends.

Job Responsibilities:

• Define Roadmap for transformation from Current-state to Future-state Capability Architectures
• Define and enforce Capability Architecture Principles/ Guardrails/ Roadmaps
• Define and enforce Domain Standards
• Determine Domain Technical Debt Rating
• Participation in Architecture Review Board and Solution Alignment Forum
• Consult to programmes (In time, on budget, great quality)
• Become Preferred technology advisor by business units
• Develop and regularly maintain a future-state Domain and /or ICT vision in line with the organisation's Business and IT Strategies - as well as the roadmap for transforming between current and future Domain vision and or ICT vision
• Govern the development and ongoing review and update of the organisation's Domain Principles
• Govern the Architecture Review Board and the regular meeting of this board to ensure Solution Architecture alignment with ICT Principles, ICT Standards and Future State Vision
• Participate in the Architecture Review Board to ensure Solution Architecture alignment with Domain Principles, Standards and Future State Vision
• Governance of Innovation Ideation and the promotion of innovation ideas to Proof of Concept and Pilot Projects
• Work with operational teams to determine opportunities for improvement and define business requirements.
• Ensure continuous alignment between architectural delivery and the operational implementation and integrity of IT systems.
• Provide leadership and vision for the optimisation and rationalisation of ICT infrastructure - aimed at increasing capability and/or IT cost savings and/or IT Service Levels.
• Provide an Enterprise Architecture Centre of Excellence capability to the organisation
• Facilitate the organisation's knowledge and understanding of current and emerging technology - and how it can be leveraged for maximum business benefit
• Calculate the organisation's Domain Technical Debt and ensure this is regularly communicated to the Head of Architecture

Minimum Requirements:

• Essential: 5+ years Architecture-related experience in Solutions / Business / Domain / Enterprise areas
• Essential: Previously worked in the Banking and Financial Services industry
• Essential: Diplomas or Degree, preferably in either Information Systems, Computer Science or Software Engineering
• Essential: Exposure to Project life cycle and /or System Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Essential: Basic security architecture knowledge – IDP, Authorizations, XACML
• Preferred: IBM MDM and other IBM Products, Angular JS, API/JSON/REST and SOAP
• Preferred: ITIL Certification
• Preferred: Cloud Certification
• Preferred: TOGAF Certification / Zachman Certification
• Preferred: SAFE Certification
