Our client, an established organization committed to maintaining high safety standards, is seeking a dedicated EHS Intern to support their ongoing safety initiatives and compliance efforts.

What You'll Do:

• Assist in ensuring compliance with Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) legislation and company policies
• Support the implementation of safety procedures, standards, and risk controls
• Participate in conducting and reviewing risk assessments (HIRA – Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment)
• Assist with Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Safe Work Procedures development
• Support in organizing and delivering safety training sessions and toolbox talks
• Help with induction programs for new employees

Requirements:

• Relevant qualification or degree in a related field
• Analytical skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
• Basic understanding of safety protocols and legislation
• RPE (Respiratory Protective Equipment) knowledge is advantageous
• Familiarity with R programming or related analytical tools is a plus

Familiarity with the following:

• Automotive and manufacturing industry practices
• Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment (HIRA)
• Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
