Job Description

Your responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring compliance of regulations pertaining to environmental management and providing recommendation to the operations in the areas of water, waste, land and air quality management.
• Developing and managing of environmental management systems.
• Supporting in the identification, analyses and evaluation of environmental risks.
• Ensuring effective Minimum Permitting Requirements, Waste Management and Hazardous/ Chemical Substances Management.
• Effective Isometrix management.
• Rolling out environmental awareness campaigns to keep employees informed about hazards.

This role is in the SHE & PS department at a Band 6 level reporting to the Section Manager: Environmental.

Qualifications

You will be required to have the following:

• Degree or equivalent in Environmental Management or related field (NQF Level 6)
• Valid South African Driver’s license

Experience:

• Experience in the environmental field within the Mining Industry
