Environmental Consultant at Hatch

As a successful candidate, you will be;

• Effectively managing the environmental related projects,
• Collaborating with specialists, liaising with Clients and authorities,
• Mentoring and learning from colleagues,
• Candidate that is self-disciplined and motivated with strong administrative skills, 
• Candidate must possess excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and be able to work independently as well as part of a greater team.

You bring to the role;

• BSc Honours or Masters in Environmental or Natural Sciences qualification at a reputable academic university.
• Valid professional registration with EAPASA (No application in process will be considered).
• More than 5 years’ experience in terms of the relevant South African environmental legislation.
• Experience in IFC Performance Standards and Equator Principles.
• Experience in the renewable energy industry.
• Experience in EIAs, WULAs, AELs, WMLs, etc.
• Experience in Environmental Due Diligence projects.
• Experience and understanding of Environmental, Social Governance principles.
• Proficient in the use of MS Word and Excel.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Valid drivers’ licence and passport.
• Willingness to travel.
• Must align to the Company’s values.
• No postgraduates, candidate or junior EAPs will be considered for the position.
