Environmental Officer Grade A-C: Air Quality Management at Kwazulu-Natal:Department of Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs

REQUIREMENTS : The ideal candidate must have:

• An appropriate Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science / Environmental Management / Natural Sciences/ Environmental Law, or Chemical / Electrical Engineering; A minimum of one to two (1-2) years’ relevant experience in Environmental Management/Air Quality Management. A valid driver’s license (code B). 

DUTIES : The incumbent will be required to:

• Contribute towards the development and administration of Air Quality Management Systems and Policies; Provide technical and subject specific comments and advice on basic technical reports; Provide support in the development and implementation of specific projects; Provide support with regards to compliance monitoring and compliance with respect to statutory obligations; and Perform all administrative and related functions.
