Estimator - JHB at RPO Recruitment

Responsibilities

• Ensure all estimates are accurately and timeously responded to within the stipulated timeframe as per the Estimates Policies and Procedures
• Contact all clients quoted on a daily basis, following up and reporting on opportunities.
• Preparation of accurate estimates for customers offering the best possible logistics solutions.
• Maintain rate records and database.
• Communicate in a friendly and efficient way with clients to ensure service satisfaction.
• Ensure all completed estimates are stored as backup on the Z-Drive.
• Report on monthly statistical information
• Assess all enquires and determine which enquiries are timewasters and benchmarks, therefore balancing the workload according to the opportunity assessed.

Requirements

• Must be a Freight Forwarding Estimator (Sea, Air and Road)
• Cargo Wise experience beneficial
• Relevant Certificate in Freight, Forwarding, etc.
• Advanced Excel: including basic formulas.
• Minimum 2 years of experience within the freight industry.
• Advantageous: Operations experience.
