Evaluator: Energy Sector at Khulisa Management Services

Khulisa seeks a qualified and experienced Mid-Level Evaluator for a Power Africa Senior Advisors Group (SAG) programme. The evaluator will support the Team lead in managing and implementing the evaluation. They will assist in validating findings, support evaluation design, and provide sectoral a/o on-the-ground knowledge for the evaluation.

This is a 5 month consultancy remote opportunity and contingent upon a project award to Khulisa.

Qualifications/Experience

• Masters in economics/Development Studies/Energy/Evaluation

• Minimum eight years of experience in implementing program evaluations with some level of research expertise, in the energy sector and in Sub-Saharan Africa.

• Experience in Energy/Development programs in developing countries.

• Experience in conducting evaluations/assessments and a strong familiarity with power/energy programs in emerging markets.

• Managing and implementing evaluation in line with USAID Evaluation Policy and requirements.

• Excellent oral and written skills in English are required.

• Fluency or working knowledge of French will be an added advantage.
