Events Coordinator at Cipla

Job Purpose

• Plan, Coordinate & execute all allocated corporate or other event functions from inception to final execution, including travel, aligned with one Cipla standard & requirements for both internal & externally hosted events to ensure seamless execution of events.  Closely manage budget allocations and reconciliations after the event.

• Psychiatric Forum
• Springbok Weekend
• Cycle meeting 2 & 3
• National Golf Days
• Corporate Gifting
• IPA Meeting
• DNA Workshops
• Year end function
• Registrar weekends

Negotiate rates with External Service Providers

• Adhere to customer and stakeholder policy and procedures in order to ensure compliance
• Integrate with cross functional teams in order to ensure matrix management and optimum service for performance.

Education Qualification

• Relevant Degree Certificate or Diploma in hospitality industry / Events Management

Relevant Work Experience

• 3 years’ experience in a similar events role covering all areas of the function
• Travel experience advisable
• Coordinate Project Management skills / experience
• Strong Administrative skills
• Strong relationship building abilities
