    Executive Manager: Sanlam Legacy: Sanlam Trust (Bellville)

    What will you do?

    • Strategic positioning of the business area for the immediate 
    • Lead, manage and implement plans and assess the business performance against targets and objectives
    • Collaborate with various stakeholders
    • Manage the financial discipline of the division as it relates to budgets, business targets and performance.
    • Provide strategic leadership and people management within Sanlam Legacy
    • Identify, mitigate, implement, and manage controls as it relates to risk and compliance for the business area
    • To stay abreast of all regulatory and industry changes relating to the Fiduciary landscape.

    What will make you successful in this role?
    Qualification & experience 

    • Commercial/Financial or business-related degree/diploma
    • Extensive financial services experience in marketing/sales environment
    • Experience in SanlamConnect at a Business Manager level will be advantageous
    • Experience of SanlamConnect’s businesses; processes and procedures will be a strong recommendation
    • Understanding of Fiduciary Services
    • Sales and Operational Management/Leadership of a team/unit 
    • People Management 
    • Budget & expense management
    • Debt Management

    Knowledge: 

    • Financial Services industry knowledge
    • Relevant regulatory legislation and compliance knowledge (FAIS accredited)
    • Financial Services Product Knowledge (Sanlam & competitors)
    • Legal technical knowledge (product related)
    • New & existing business processes
    • Adviser contracts and remuneration
    • Broker contracts
    • Sales & related administration processes
