    Executive Manager: Stakeholder Management (Short Term Insurance)

    The Role

    The primary purpose of the position is to fulfil our client's company aspirations of creating shareholder value, remaining sustainable, and providing relevant solutions for their clients and stakeholders and this will be done through the following:

    • Growing revenue – contribute to the sustainability of the company and delivering on our mandate;
    • Creating brand value – bringing organization to the people and bringing people to the organization;
    • Explore and develop new opportunities – finding solutions for our stakeholder, shareholders, people of South Africa, and potential clients for all special risks

    Strategic Alignment

    • Participate in the development of business overall strategy
    • Development of a divisional strategic plan and business plan/ develop Marketing, CRM, strategies for the company, ensuring alignment with the overall strategy
    • Develop and implement a Communication Strategy Public Relations, Advertising and Media
    • Identify other strategic opportunities for revenue growth
    • Effective development of a strategic direction for the new business and existing account growth
    • Development and maintenance of business partnerships
    • Develop a 5-year strategy for the division with a special focus on Business Development to drive growth for the function
    • Develop different business design tools while demonstrating full understanding of the business model of creating growth and effective business partnerships

    Operations/ Products/ Customers

    • Analyse insurance industry needs and design solutions to meet industry needs and grow
    • Maintain stakeholder relations with all relevant stakeholders
    • Develop engagement plans and disseminate product knowledge to all stakeholders
    • Assess and support agents to comply with Company regulations and relevant legislation in support of the organizational strategic plan
    • Provide technical(insurance) support to the industry
    • Quarterly shareholder report on financial and strategic performance,
    • Manage service level agreements with third party suppliers.
    • Develop new products and alternative business revenue streams. 
    • Create awareness of Company business processes and ensure inclusivity while engaging with various stakeholders and customers at different levels
    • Contribute towards business growth by demonstrating sound understanding of the short-term insurance industry and its dynamics

    Financial

    • Compile and manage divisional budget and forecasts
    • Monitor implementation of the CRM, Marketing strategies, and Agents performance in relation to sales
    • Monitor Agents' performance with regards to the premium generated.
    • Identify and investigate new distribution channels and grow premium.
    • Manage projects to ensure the portfolio Management function is carried out in a cost-effective manner

    Risk Management

    • Monitoring and development of the policies and procedures to eliminate fraud risk, underwriting risk, operational risk, and irregular, fruitless and wasteful expenditure.
    • Monitoring and development of the policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
    • Manage reputational risk by dealing with all reputational issues.

    People Management

    • Leadership of Stakeholder Management teams, defining objectives to be achieved by the departments.
    • Ensure that all staff are trained, skilled, and that their expertise is fully applied.
    • Manage performance of direct reportees ensuring agreement of annual goals, measuring performance against agreed goals, and dealing with non-performance accordingly.
    • Talent management of direct reports, including career developments and paths for all staff and succession planning for key positions.
    • Ensure that the working environment contributes to improving staff morale and increasing productivity.
    • Alignment to the organization's transformation objectives through departmental processes.
