External Auditor at Afrizan People Intelligence

As an External Auditor you will help our clients meet their reporting requirements by providing an objective and independent examination of their financial statements, timely and constructive discussion with management on accounting and reporting matters, and clear perspective to audit committees

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain productive working relationships with audit clientsDirect fieldwork, inform engagement leaders of audit engagement status and manage staff performance
• Complete audit procedures and documentation for higher risk areas in order to broaden your technical skills (e.g. revenue, financial instruments, and income taxes)
• Participate in client engagements during a transaction business combination or debt offering
• Contribute ideas/opinions to the audit teams

• Take ownership for delivery of high-quality audit work
• Supervise the execution of complex parts of an audit engagement
• Demonstrate professional skepticism and compliance with risk management and independence policies
• Develop self and others though seeking and offering on the job coaching and audit engagement experiences
• Build strong credibility through displaying good insight and business acumen, applying technical competence and engaging in relevant discussions with clients and engagement teams
• Develop credibility and business acumen in discussions with clients

Experience

• Completed articles with Top 4 audit firms
• 4-6 years of external audit post articles
• Financial services clients
• People Management experience - post article
