Job Description

• An established plastic manufacturing company is seeking  the skills of External Sales Representative to join our team in Johannesburg, Gauteng. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in external sales, preferably within the FMCG or plastic manufacturing sectors, and be proficient in Sage Evolution. This role is ideal for a sales professional looking to drive business growth and build lasting client relationships.

Requirements:

• Diploma or higher qualification in Marketing, Sales, or a related field
• 6–8 years of proven external sales experience
• Industry experience in FMCG or plastic manufacturing preferred
• Proficiency in Sage Evolution is essential
• Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle

Responsibilities: 

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned regions
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
• Conduct regular client visits and product presentations
• Negotiate pricing and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets
• Prepare accurate sales reports and forecasts
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service delivery
