Main responsibility is to ensure short term as well as long term successful sales result within your application area of Proteomics which includes the Western Blot workflow including Imaging solutions, Chromatography and Antibodies.
Apply your scientific expertise in field sales activities to generate new business opportunities through meetings, demonstrations, seminars, webinars and training sessions.
Provide field application support for customers utilizing available installed instruments in collaboration with Technical Support, Service and the Sales Team.
Plan, perform and follow up sales activities to ensure high value customers and market segments are targeted and engaged. Focus on Key Opinion Leaders and Key Decision Makers at strategically important customer accounts.
Actively seek to maintain expert understanding of the technology and applications within the area or responsibility. Including sharing and training of the sales team. Keep a basic knowledge about the full product portfolio to identify new sales opportunities.
What You Bring:
Minimum of BSc Life Science or Biotech degree. Master’s or PhD preferred.
2-3 years commercial experience in a similar role or sales role within the Life Science / Diagnostics industry.
Good organizational and time management skills and a strong ability to work both independently and in a team.
High level of presentation and communication skills.
Sales experience and/or laboratory experience is required.
Experience in presenting at seminars, workshops or trainings is an advantage.
