This person will mainly be responsible to coordinate, manage and performing daily field sampling activities (onsite and offsite) to provide early feedback on potato quality and field to highlight yield risks.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist with daily operations of end-to-end processes in RMI from receiving, grading, storage and utilization of Raw Material in line with production requirements with a focus on Tare Sampling and Grading.
Provide support to the Planning and Logistics Coordinator to ensure operational continuity
Drive quality related projects along with the field services team.
Provide insight into grading trends and technical acumen as recommendations in order to mitigate risk.
REQUIREMENTS:
Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum experience/knowledge:
Minimum 3 years Potato Sampling and Grading experience
Computer literacy with specific reference to strong Excel and SAP.
Valid EB Drivers License
Strong technical potato knowledge
Strong relationship management and communication skills
Assertive, achievement orientated KPI driven.
Ability to work productively in a stressful environment
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to handle pressure whilst maintaining a high work rate
Assertive and results orientated
Ability to exercise sound judgment in decision-making.
