Field Service Assistant at Bearing Man Group (BMG)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• To assist the Field Service team both in-house and on site with services
• The incumbent is required to employ his trade skills and experience in the servicing, repairs and maintenance of mechanical equipment
• Carry out on work that may not specifically relate to bearings such as, Materials Handling, Drive repairs, Condition Monitoring, mechanical fitting etc
• Carry out all work in accordance with legislative norms and engineering standards
• Maintain trade tools and general equipment in good order
• Maintain the work environment in a clean state and to a safe standard.
• General housekeeping
• Assist with mechanical product installations
• Assist with mechanical services and maintenance

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric
• Experience in fitting and maintenance in Mining and Engineering field
• Valid driver’s license
• Must be willing and able to work both on surface and underground in a mining environment
• Able to undergo and pass a medical fitness examination
