    Field Service Manager - HPGR's

    Your Responsibilities

    Leadership

    • Lives and promotes the TEACH values.
    • Provides leadership for a department/function with a relatively high level of technical complexity.
    • Manage and coordinate multiple team members in various locations.
    • Seek synergies between teams and optimize performance on a continuous basis across local teams and within the global FLS.
    • Selects high performing employees to build and secure an effective function/department.
    • Provides leadership to employees by coaching and ensuring they have a clear understanding of performance level expected.
    • Drives employees’ performance by conducting Performance and Development Reviews and designs individual development programs to secure employees are able and capable to perform, and agreed departmental goals are met.

    Operational

    • Plans, organizes, and control the function within the ZERO HARM values.
    • Ensures that the HPGR installed base is serviced and maintained.
    • Ensures that staff produce the necessary documentation and reports as needed.
    • Ensures that other areas within the team’s scope is also covered through effective service i.e., shell supported mills, drive trains, etc.
    • Manages, plans, and prioritizes resources across own area of responsibility to meet functional business objectives.
    • Defines, monitors, and follows up on cross-functional activities to ensure targets are met.
    • Fosters global interaction within FLSmidth and customer base.
    • Overall responsible for the assets allocated to this department. i.e. vehicle's, tooling, equipment, etc.
    • Own department strategic plans and executes strategic projects as required.

    Financial / Business Targets

    • Executes and delivers according to department financial objectives.
    • Provides input into the department/functional budget and ensures that agreed targets are met.
    • Manages service agreements allocated to this function by ensuring deliverables are met and commercial excellence is achieved.
    • Reports on the performance of the function on a regular basis.
    • Lives and promotes the HSE values.
    • Carries the 16.2 appointment for the specific function.
    • Ensures adherence to FLSmidth’s safety policy and follows up on compliance within own area of responsibility.
    • Collaborates with the HSE department to ensure compliance and a culture of pro-active safety is fostered and promoted.

    Business Development

    • Develops and promotes the HPGR Field Service function.
    • Continually seek opportunities to expand the Field Service footprint.

    What You Bring

    • Bachelor’s degree, engineering diploma & trade or equivalent
    • Leadership qualification i.e. MDP or equivalent
    • Project management foundational qualification would be advantageous.
    • At least 5 years Supervisor experience
    • At least 10 years in a Field Service function.
    • Financial Acumen
    • Negotiation skills
    • Strong technical skills and knowledge of FLS core products is essential.
    • General Business understanding
    • Excellent communication skills in English.
