Field Service Technician at Network Recruitment

Purpose of the role:

• The Field Service Technician will be responsible for meeting the daily service, maintenance, fault finding, and repair needs of the customer’s equipment to ensure optimal customer satisfaction. 

Principal Duty:

Execute the service and repair of installed equipment, involving the inspection and analysis of malfunctions, dismantling, repairing, adjusting, and reassembling, as required, to solve operational problems and as per customer requirements. Refer problems relevant to design or manufacturing along with recommendations to responsible management.

Knowledge:

• Knowledge of fault finding and running diagnostics on processing and automation software: Siemens, Allen Bradley, Winn CC, in touch, RS view or SE.

Education and Experience:

• Educational qualification to at least HND level in mechanical engineering (experience in process or electrical engineering will be an advantage).
• At least 8 years’ experience as a service technician with at least 3 of the 8 years in the food or dairy industry as a service technician.
• Previous exposure to the hygiene environment.
• Full understanding of processing equipment utilized in the food industry
