Field Technician (Centurion) - Construction Technology at Hire Resolve

Responsibilities:

Product Implementation:

• Manage field implementations to ensure products and solutions meet customer satisfaction.
• Conduct thorough testing and obtain customer sign-off, accompanied by documented implementation tests.
• Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate successful implementations.

Field Support:

• Perform regular site visits for repairs and maintenance of implemented products and solutions.
• Diagnose and resolve reported issues or malfunctions using standard troubleshooting procedures.
• Provide optimal customer support through field visits or telephonic assistance.
• Log all product, solution, or customer issues accurately, provide timely reports, and manage field dispatch schedules.
• Foster and maintain supportive customer relationships.

Product Training:

• Deliver operator training to customers on all implemented or upgraded products and solutions.

Requirements:

• Millwright Qualification – NQF 4 (Trade School).
• 3+ years proven experience in product or solution implementation and field service or support.
• Experience in the Geospatial industry is an advantage.
• Advanced knowledge of OPTRON Group technologies and solutions is a plus.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting, repairing, testing, and servicing technical equipment.
• Familiarity with solutions implementation and service level support best practices.
• Valid driver's license; a company vehicle will be provided for use from the office to client sites.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively internationally (mainly within Africa) and be away from home regularly.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job and operational requirements.
