Details of responsibilities:

Fuel for Growth Savings

• Support Africa cluster to achieve planned savings
• Ensure the tracking of cost savings in SRS and reporting against target
• Ensuring maintenance of savings projects aligned with the classifications
• Alignment of SC savings from SRS into the global cash up tool
• Automation, simplification and standardisation across Africa

Production Cost Analyst

• Responsible for consolidating and reporting Production costs for Africa and submission to global
• Provide guidance on production cost and savings targets for overall Africa delivery
• Analyse production cost performance across Africa
• Partnering of Manufacturing Excellence team and Africa leadership to identify gaps, risks and opportunities for manufacturing savings projects and performance of the plants

Material Waste reporting

• Responsible for consolidating and reporting Zero Based Waste for Africa and submission to global
• Deep-dive into key areas of concern and track closure of issues
• Simplification of MUV reporting to provide more visibility on losses

Digital

• Curiosity and practical application on digital initiatives
• Automation of reporting in applications such as Power BI

The successful candidate should have:

• Minimum 3 - 5 years’ work experience
• Financial Accounting qualification
• Working towards CIMA or equivalent
• FMCG business experience and exposure to manufacturing environment an advantage
• Advanced Excel, sound SAP knowledge
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills
• Strong Business Partnering, ability to influence across all levels
• Strong work ethic, great attitude, self-starting & proactive mind-set, strong team player
• Ability to handle and work under pressure and to tight deadlines, strong bias for action
