Responsibilities
- Strategic leadership and ownership of the integration of the CCBA fixed Asset function, including processes, systems, and tools.
- Ensure simplified and standardized month/quarter/year-end processes are followed. Preparation of General ledger reconciliations.
- Identify opportunities to eliminate process inefficiencies.
- Provide a support role in the development and maintenance of Fixed Asset Information Systems, including but not limited to MSD and SAP.
- Plan and manage the annual budgeting and quarterly planning processes for Capital Investment.
- Provide insightful, timeous asset related reporting for CCBA.
- Process management of CCBA’s capital investments.
- Custodianship of the fixed asset governance process in line with CCBA’s chart of authority and control systems (Erf/ DocuSign). With a good understanding of Capitalisation of asset requirements.
- Plan and manage fixed asset verification and reconciliation per CCBA and CCBA requirements.
- Ensuring a continuous improvement mind set throughout the fixed asset function.
- Review of Creditors reconciliations in line with CCBA policies and procedures.
- Perform the month end closeout process and procedures (including logging of relevant closeout calls).
- Managing the CCBA General ledger and Hyperion submission.
- Support of functions within the business as required.
- Adhoc projects.
Skills, Experience & Education
Qualifications:
- Minimum requirement: B. Com Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
Experience:
- 3 – 5 years’ experience, in a Finance Administrator with Fixed Asset experience.
- Strong SAP experience and Excellent MS office skills, particularly Excel at an intermediary/advanced level.
