Finance Analyst (Fixed Term Contract) at takealot.com

This role will report to the Profitability Analyst.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Execute workflow according to set priorities and deadlines
• Ensure quality and accuracy of data entries from source
• Investigate and resolve exceptions in weighted average cost price calculations
• Assist with Month-end close procedures and reporting
• Assist with testing and project tasks to automate processes in the finance team
• Assist with Ad hoc requests required from the finance team

Qualifications and Experience:

• Finance degree or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 years' experience in a finance analyst role
• Knowledge of accounting, financial reporting and financial analysis acquired through related work experience
• Basic SQL and Google Suites advantageous
• Computer proficiency pertaining to MS office and strong excel skills are a prerequisite
