    Finance Clerk – Commercial & Central

    • Are you detail-oriented with a passion for finance and administration? We are looking for a Finance Clerk to support our Commercial & Central Finance team by ensuring accurate financial administration, document control, and operational support across the business.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Process and capture finance transactions under supervision
    • Maintain accurate finance records, filing systems, and supporting documentation
    • Assist with finance administration, reconciliations, and month-end activities
    • Support internal and external audits by ensuring documentation is complete and audit-ready
    • Maintain fixed asset registers and assist with asset verification
    • Assist with stocktake preparation, stock documentation, and inventory administration
    • Maintain finance control checklists, petty cash registers, and SharePoint records
    • Support contract and lease administration, document management, and version control
    • Prepare spreadsheets, reports, and supporting schedules using Excel
    • Provide administrative support to the Accountant and Bookkeeper across various finance functions

    Minimum Requirements

    • Matric (Grade 12)
    • Diploma in Finance or Accounting
    • 0–2 years' experience in a finance or finance administration role
    • Exposure to a retail finance environment will be beneficial
    • Basic Microsoft Excel skills
    • Strong administrative, organisational, and communication skills

    Key Competencies

    • High attention to detail and accuracy
    • Strong organisational and administrative skills
    • Basic understanding of finance and accounting principles
    • Computer literate with good Excel skills
    • Honest, reliable, and able to maintain confidentiality
    • Willingness to learn and support multiple finance functions

    Requirements added by the job poster

    • 2+ years of work experience with Fixed Asset Register
    • 2+ years of experience in Finance
    • 2+ years of work experience with Microsoft Excel
    • 2+ years of work experience with SharePoint
    • Associate's Degree
