A core part of our business is our Cape Town operations centre from which we provide 24/7 support to our predominantly UK based clients and their global operations via a 1st – 3rd line service desk, 365 days per year. This operation is planned to expand significantly in the coming years. This expansion is to not only accommodate growth in our service desk, but also an expanding remit to broaden our local service capability.
Generic essential duties:
Assist with management accounts for various entities within the group
Assist with month- and year-end procedures (e.g., prepayments, accruals)
Assist with various monthly / quarterly reporting (e.g., Bank/ECI/DTI/BBBEE)
Assist with VAT calculations and submissions
Assist with cash management and projections
Assist with Audit request
Day to Day banking and payments
Processing all data on accounting system
Processing bank reconciliation
Preparation of weekly / monthly supplier pay run
Assist with fixed asset register (additions / depreciation /disposal)
Adhoc duties upon request
Requirements
Relevant NQF Level 6 and above
Understanding of Accounting principles and procedures
Microsoft Excel
Advantageous
Basic Tax knowledge
Exposure to commission calculation
Microsoft Excel Advanced (pivot / vlookup / hlookup etc.)
Generic essential individual attributes
Excellent communication skills
Strong Administration abilities
Ability to work under minimum supervision and support
Attention to detail
Self-motivated and able to adapt to a changing environment
Excellent articulation and command of the English language

Working hours will be 40-45 hours per week (Monday - Friday (10am SA - 7pm SA)
Offices located in Century City, Cape Town (currently working from home)
